Our team is growing, and we are looking for experienced human resources professionals to join our team.
We offer part time and per diem employees a flexible, hybrid schedule during normal work hours Monday through Friday.
The part-time or per diem HR Consultant is responsible for providing human capital and management advisory services to multiple clients.
This can be in the form of project based and/or on-going services.
The consultant assists client companies to develop and communicate policies, train employees, and implement HR best practices.
The role is responsible for leading and advancing human resource projects, developing strategic and practical HR plans and HR compliance related functions.
Essential Functions:
Conducts day-to-day HR generalist activities for the client either on-site or remote.
This could include but not be limited to recruitment, job description and ad development, placement, and monitoring, conducting interviews, processing paperwork, conducting on-boarding/orientations, processing various leaves, open enrollment, and benefit planning, etc.
Provides consultation and guidance to leadership, management and / or organizational partners on the formulation and administration of plans and policies for human resource activities.
Ensures plans and policies are in compliance with federal, state and/or local regulations.
Advises on the best human capital management practices.
Develops methods and procedures for compiling and analyzing data for reports and special projects; recommends solutions for assigned projects and / or clients.
Develops, revises, and implements HR policies and procedures; prepares and maintains special internal and external reports related to client work.
Conducts HR research, analyzes benchmarks, and designs plans for applying new techniques for driving change in HR processes.
Advises on technology for business advancement Conducts periodic audits of human resource activities to ensure compliance with laws, policies, and procedures.
Provides advice and recommendations to business owners, senior leadership teams, managers, and HR teams for resolution of recurring issues/problems.
Leads and ensures the timely execution of HR related projects for clients, including organization design, process mapping, cultural assessments and surveys, program development (e.
g.
, retention, benefits, etc.
Preparing and maintaining reports related to the projects.
Develops and delivers relevant HR training curriculum to clients via numerous delivery methods (e.
g.
, virtual, in-person, recorded, etc.
).
Develops, revises, and implements HR handbooks, manuals, operating procedures, and policies.
Conducts workplace investigations and write fact finding reports with conclusions.
Conducts research through various methods (e.
g.
, data collection, surveys, etc.
).
Devises plans and techniques to drive change and culture management.
Responsible for tracking work hours, including billable and non-billable time with the related detail and to submit the information on a weekly and/or bi-weekly basis.
Keep abreast of current trends and advancements, and regularly participate in professional development sessions or seminars.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software, Cloud Based Systems (Teams, Office 365, Google, etc.
) HRIS, payroll and ATS systems.
Ability to travel locally, if needed.
If hired to work locally, must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Education & Work Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferably in business, HR management, organization management/development, labor relations, education, or related field.
Minimum 10 years of experience working in HR.
Previous project management experience in HR related field is a plus.
Prior experience in recruitment or related field and training/teaching experience including developing trainings and/or curriculum for adult learners is a plus.
Prior experience as a consultant is a plus.
Human Resources Certification (PHR or SPHR and/or SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP) preferred and/or the ability to obtain within 6 months to one year of hire.
