Research Associate (System of Care Policy Director) - Council on Children and Families

Under the direction of the CCF Executive Director or their designee and the Statewide System of Care Project Director at the New York State Office of Mental Health, position will be responsible for improving the effectiveness and efficiency of child-serving state agencies and the continuum of care for children and families by promoting and supporting statewide cross-system and collaborative activities, informed by youth and families, and county and regional government officials. Essential Duties and Responsibilities o Bring equity lens to the system of care improvement and innovation policies. o Facilitate cross-systems planning at the county and regional levels of government, in collaboration with state-level system of care partners. o Facilitate family and youth involvement and recommendations for state-level cross-systems change. o Highlight culturally and linguistically appropriate polices, technical assistance and best practices o Stay abreast of local, state, and federal issues impacting interagency collaborations. o Cultivate and use national experts to further New York State's system of care work. o Provide technical assistance to county and regional level collaboratives in best practices to advance systems change and strengthen collaborative work. o Participate in CCF cross-systems working groups, focusing on elevating barriers and successes identified at the local andregional levels to the state-level and assisting with the development and implementation of action steps. o Advance the blending and braiding of funding and implementation of policies, procedures, and practices across child-serving agencies consistent with collaborative solutions and system of care values and principles. o Develop and implement mechanisms to track, monitor, and management achievement of system of care goals. o Seek opportunities to communicate with public and private child-serving agencies and community-at-large to share information about cross-system services and possibilities. o Manage project budgets, develop contracts and procurements following NYS procurement guidelines. o Other duties and responsibilities, as needed.

Salary Range:
From $85712 to $108342 Annually
Minimum Qualification
o Bachelor's degree and five years of experience in human services, public policy, or a related field. o Demonstrated record of successful facilitation of interagency and/or cross-systems collaboration across professional disciplines and establishment and maintenance of effective working relationships. o Minimum of five years in a community or human service organization or public agency, with experience in project management and outcome measurement. o Ability to utilize and manipulate data. o Outstanding written and oral communication skills. o Proven leadership skills. o Ability to work independently.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
