Administrative Assistant 1/Trainee

Reporting directly to the Deputy Commissioner for Administration in the Division of Administration, the Administrative Specialist will support, coordinate, and facilitate the work of the several offices and bureaus in the Division. The position will be responsible for the following:
Manage and organize the flow of information, in paper and electronic form, to and from the Division, with agency executive staff, managers and other staff. Act as Division of Administration-Financial Management's communications linchpin. Maintain open channels of communication, and establishing processes and procedures that facilitate the efficient flow of information between the Division and other parts of the agency. Additional duties will be discussed in detail during the interview.
Job Function

Salary Range:
From $48940 to $76218 Annually
Minimum Qualification
One year of permanent competitive or 55b/c service in this title or in a title eligible for 70.1 or 52.6 transfer. This position may be designated 55 b/c and is subject to verification of applicant eligibility.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
