Youth Local Assistance Program Specialist 1 (YDAPS)
Under the direction of the Director of Cross System Supports, this position will be responsible for developing, implementing, and assessing the impact of practice and policy initiatives. The specific areas of focus are youth at risk of, or youth who are involved in the juvenile justice system; youth placed in the local social service district custody on a PINS or delinquency adjudication; youth who are in foster care and become dual status; or youth who are returning to the community after a placement with the local social services district. Understanding the best practices and policy implications at the intersection of child welfare and juvenile justice is desirable. The position will need to analyze and interpret data work plans for cross-divisional and cross-organizational projects. This position will also need to provide expert technical assistance to localities engaging in juvenile justice and/or child welfare reform and effectively supervise staff within the Bureau of Cross System Supports. Minimum Qualification
Bachelor's degree and three years of experience in research, planning, program analysis or evaluation relating to human services or criminal or juvenile justice. Master's degree is equivalent to one year of experienceEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
